Health insurance and government rebates

In certain countries, insurance providers may cover the expenses of DNA testing for specific conditions.

For instance, in the USA, health insurance typically does not cover Whole Genome Sequencing DNA testing unless there’s a compelling indication in the patient’s medical history suggesting the presence of a genetic disorder that can only be diagnosed through Whole Genome DNA Sequencing.
